Details for flights from Saudi Arabia to Europe and elsewhere are as set out below.   One-way tickets are now available for purchase online for flights in September, as follows:

 1.     Saudia Airlines

Book online directly with Saudia airlines for a range of flights from KSA to Europe & US: https://www.saudia.com/

2.     KLM

Flights with KLM to Europe are due to start on the 29 September – you need to book directly on the KLM site https://www.klm.com/

3.     Lufthansa Airlines

Riyadh to Frankfurt:

·         13 September

·         20 September

·         27 September

To note:

• You must have the appropriate permissions to depart Saudi Arabia and enter Ireland.

• Passengers are responsible for making their own onward bookings to Ireland.

• If you are considering returning to Ireland we strongly recommend taking flights as they become available. We cannot guarantee when future flights will operate. Connections within Europe are limited.

• Bear in mind that these are one-way flights only. We do not have any information on when flights will be available for non-Saudi’s to return to Saudi Arabia.

• We are aware that some other airlines are accepting bookings for flights to and from Europe which have subsequently been canceled or rescheduled. We will inform citizens via email and twitter only of those flights which have been confirmed to us by the airline and the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).  

Important information regarding return to Ireland:

• Do not travel if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g fever, cough, shortness of breath). If you are showing symptoms, please inform the local health authorities in Saudi Arabia as soon as possible.

·         The Irish Authorities require anyone coming into Ireland, apart from Northern Ireland, to restrict their movements for 14 days, this includes citizens and residents returning to Ireland. Restricting your movements means staying indoors in one location and avoiding contact with other people and social situations as much as possible. To ensure that this is being observed all passengers arriving in Ireland from overseas are obliged to complete a mandatory Public Health Passenger Locator Form and to submit it to the relevant authority at their port of entry. Exemptions are in place for providers of essential supply chain services such as haulers, pilots, and maritime staff. Check the Irish Government Advice Page for full information on these requirements. Further advice for people who have recently returned from abroad is available from the HSE.
